Florida West Coast Airport Transportation is affiliated with Anna Maria Island Airport Transportation, which was founded on December 3, 2015, by Alan and Andrea Shields.
We both have many years of professional driving experience such working for Diplomat Taxi. We had gradually been obtaining our own clients and felt we had enough business of our own to start our own company. At the start, we offered rides to whoever needed them—airport transfers, doctor appointments, and even taking clients’ kids to and from school. As people got to know us and our reputation grew, we focused on airport rides.
We knew that Anna Maria Island was in need of a good airport transportation company. We are proud to have become the number one transportation company in the area. We have been finalists for the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Awards twice since joining.
My wife and I have very high standards on how we live our lives and that is carried over in to how our business is run. “Our reputation is built on Honesty”.
